A man walking in an alley with a roll of cloth under his arm when it started raining in torrents. The walker unrolled the cloth and spread it over his head. Suddenly, another man who was passing by also makeshift shelter under the awning.
When the rain stopped, the second man claimed as his own material and began a discussion almost came to blows. Finally, both took the case to a judge. This heard the respective arguments and said
-Sheriff, get some scissors and cut the fabric right down the middle to give each his share.
This was done but then the judge found that one of the men manifested happy with the decision while the other was very angry.
